Today’s Question:
– Annette B
Q – I’ve been dealing with some sort of fungus issue on my toes for a couple years now, I have a prescription from my doctor but it doesn’t seem to work all that well, plus it’s expensive. Any tips to get rid of my nail fungus? Thanks in advance.
A – Great question Annette, and believe it or not, we get this question rather often.
As with any health issue, those darn prescriptions can be expensive, not to mention harsh on your liver. I have a couple tips I can suggest, they aren’t a sure thing but have definitely helped folks in the past.
The one that seems to help the most is actually Vicks VapoRub. It contains a few antifungal ingredients, apply using a cotton swab a couple times a day. A study published by the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine reported an 83% improvement for people who did this at least once a day. Those a pretty good odds Annette.
I also like suggesting soaking your feet in Listerine and white vinegar, these too have antifungal ingredients. Combine the two equally and soak your feet for about 45min to an hour.
These are my top suggestions, if you’d like some more just reach out and ask, I’d be happy to help.
Thanks a bunch for your continued support Annette, hope this helped, have a great day!
